DN has reviewed all reports on the 204 incidents of Swedish operators such as the National Post and Telecom Agency, PTS, registered last year.

This is about personal information that has been leaked or ended up in the wrong hands, and compared to the previous year, according to DN, it is a doubling of incidents.

Among other things, employees have come across logs with a customer's conversation history and customers have, against their will, been given numbers on sites such as Vind.se and Eniro.

Initiates review

And in the customer service of one of the operators, one person found out when another subscriber called a certain number, which goes completely against the rules.

PTS will now initiate a review of all incidents this year.

- We will check that they take the measures they promise and that they do not make the same promises about measures over and over again, but that it gets better, says Frida Ekengren at PTS's department for secure communication to Dagens Nyheter.
