A big favorite in the absence of Mikaela Shiffrin, the Slovakian Petra Vlhova won her third consecutive World Cup slalom at Kranjska Gora on Sunday.

The outcome was nevertheless spectacular: imperial in the first run and on three-quarters of the second course, the Swedish Anna Swenn Larsson was more than a second ahead of Vlhova when, a few doors from the finish, she fell dramatically crossing the line sliding flat on your stomach, collapsed ...

After an average first run (4th to 92 hundredths), Vlhova made a success of her second pass to finally outstart the Swiss Wendy Holdener by 24 hundredths, who signed a 24th podium in slalom without ever having won a record.

The Austrian Katharina Truppe is 3rd at 89 hundredths, her second career podium.

With 100 victory points, Petra Vlhova takes the lead in the slalom World Cup classification at the American Mikaela Shiffrin, absent in Slovenia following the announcement of the death of her father almost two weeks ago.
