A fire killed a 57-year-old woman in Lyon on Saturday February 15. According to our colleagues from France Télévisions, the fire started on the first floor of a building on rue Grillet, in the 7th arrondissement. Three other people, including the victim's mother, were poisoned by smoke.

The building was evacuated and the fire was brought under control by the firefighters. The local daily newspaper Le Progrès indicates that the investigators are currently leaning towards an accidental fire. Gérard Collomb, the mayor of Lyon, went there.
