Yesterday, the Chinese authorities reduced the death toll from the emerging corona virus to less than 1,400 due to the number of cases twice, while six out of 1716 health workers died of the virus, especially due to a shortage of masks and protective clothing.

The number of injuries reached about 64,000 in China, including 1,716 doctors and nurses, at least, according to the National Health Committee.

The vast majority of these cases (1102) were recorded in Wuhan (center), the largest city in Hubei, the epicenter of the "Covid 19" epidemic.

This announcement comes a week after the death of the doctor who informed the authorities of the outbreak of the epidemic, as a result of his infection. His death caused outrage on social media.

Because of the influx of large numbers of patients into Hubei hospitals, and the acute shortage of masks and protective clothing, the risks faced by medical personnel have become very great.

And the Chinese National Health Commission announced 121 new deaths among people infected with the emerging coronavirus yesterday.

Consequently, the national death toll was reduced to 1,380 people.

And 99.9% of deaths due to the epidemic occurred in the world in China. So far, Japan and the Philippines have recorded deaths on their soil.

After initially congratulating Beijing on its "highly professional move" in the face of the epidemic, the White House seemed more conservative yesterday. "We are somewhat disappointed by the lack of transparency in dealing with the Chinese," declared Larry Kudlow, the chief economic advisor to President Donald Trump.

He regretted Beijing's refusal of Washington's proposals to send American experts to China, saying that "the Chinese authorities do not allow us to go there."

In response to a question on this subject, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Jing Shuang announced on Friday that Beijing has adopted "transparency" with the international community since the outbreak began.
