- I was very scared and shocked during the robbery. Now I dare not go home from the village myself, says one of the robbed youths in interrogation with the police.

One of the convicted boys is from Södra Sandby. According to the indictment, he liked a trap for his friends in his hometown after deciding to meet with the ten victims at a school yard. After a while he left the school yard but later returned to the same place masked and together with three more people. Two of the robbers were never able to identify but Södra Sandbybon and another person, from Malmö, are now convicted of the robbery.

- My client has always denied crime. He has been on the scene to attract landlords, but has since left when the robbery took place. So he was not there during the robbery. But now the district court has made an assessment and has chosen to follow the prosecutor's line in this case, says Eric Jernryd, Södra Sandbybon's defense attorney.

The prosecutor satisfied with the verdict

The prosecutor Henrik Steen is overall satisfied with the verdict:

- However, I applied for closed youth care, but I can take a closer look at this and see how the district court reasoned. Regarding the defendant who was convicted of robbery and attempted robbery, I mean that it is true. Although he was not physically present at the scene during the robbery, he is an accomplice when he was involved in planning the crime.
