He asked the local authorities to determine the list of cultures.
“Today it is absolutely clear, especially to Gomel residents, that the climate has changed dramatically. You already live in the climate zone, as you used to be south of Kiev, ”he said.
Lukashenko noted that he grows watermelon atypical for Belarus at his site, but he also cultivates the traditional one - potato.
“I personally even do this for the soul, looking for new varieties,” the president added.
Lukashenko also spoke about environmental issues.
