RSK MiG at the production site of the Sokol aircraft plant began manufacturing the fuselage compartments of the first Il-114-300 aircraft manufactured using serial technologies. The aircraft is being created as part of industrial cooperation at UAC enterprises, ”the report said.
It is noted that the Sokol plant will produce seven compartments of the fuselage of a passenger aircraft. The general director of the MiG corporation, Ilya Tarasenko, said that in 2019, more than 400 million rubles were invested in preparing the production for the execution of the Il-114 program.
In June 2019, Tarasenko announced that the first flight of the new regional aircraft, the Il-114-300, is planned to be carried out in November 2020.
