Norwegian Aleksander Aamodt Kilde made a successful day by winning the super-G in Saalbach (Austria) on Friday to take the lead in the general classification of the Alpine Skiing World Cup, while Alexis Pinturault took 6th place.

Kilde won on a largely shortened course due to bad weather conditions ahead of the Swiss Mauro Caviezel (at 15 hundredths) and the German Thomas Dressen (at 31 hundredths), winner of the downhill on Thursday.

Alexis Pinturault finished 6th at 63 hundredths and best French.

Aleksander Kilde therefore takes control of the general classification from his compatriot Henrik Kristoffersen (at 79 points), who skipped the super-G according to his habits, while Alexis Pinturault scores 40 points and is 100 points away of the head.
