Earlier, the head of the US Strategic Command of the Armed Forces noted that 2020 is a turning point in the development and deployment of hypersonic weapons. According to him, the Pentagon is beginning to "conduct flight tests in many areas and is preparing an industrial base for the production of these systems."
He also said that the agreement on the reduction of strategic offensive weapons is useful for Russia and the United States, but he does not take into account the significant advantages of the Russian side in armaments.
