Maas called Libya resolution a big step towards conflict resolution

“Accepting the results of the Berlin conference on Libya, we have taken a big step towards resolving the Libyan conflict. Now it’s important to comply with the arms embargo and step up efforts to find a political solution, ”the diplomatic service said on Twitter.

Earlier, the UN Security Council adopted a resolution approving the outcome of the Berlin conference on Libya.

The document, authored by the United Kingdom, was supported by 14 countries. Russia abstained from voting.
