The deputies The Republicans gathered in symposium on the pension reform went there strong. They mentioned a trampled parliament, a fiasco for the government. In a week of debate in committee, only some 2,000 amendments could be examined. Several crucial issues could not be addressed such as arduousness or long careers, said the right.

For France Insoumise, it is also a failure. Jean-Luc Mélenchon's party alone had tabled 19,000 amendments. On Twitter, the leader of France Insoumise speaks of " a charge of macronism against pensions defeated ". He continues to demand the outright withdrawal of the text .

Last night, the special pensions commission finished its work by examining only 26 articles out of the 65 contained in the bill.

The text will arrive before the deputies this Monday, February 17 in its original version since the special committee could not scan it in full. It will then be voted on March 3. The debates, too, are already the subject of criticism. " By granting us only one minute to defend our amendments, the government wants to prevent us from doing our work as parliamentarians, " reacted this Wednesday morning MP LR Éric Woerth, chairman of the assembly's finance committee.
