The wind will still be present today across the country, as the sleet showers. Several departments remain vigilant orange wind, but also floods and waves submersion. The highest will be between 8 and 10 degrees in the north, up to 14 degrees in the southern half with 17-19 around the Mediterranean.

The weather on Tuesday will still be windy with showers expected over a large part of the country, according to Météo-France forecasts. Orange wind vigilance will concern the Alpes-Maritimes, Southern Corsica and Haute-Corse. Seine-Maritime and Eure will be on the alert orange due to floods on the Seine. The departments of Finistère, Côtes-d'Armor, Morbihan, Ile et Vilaine, Manche, Loire-Atlantique, Somme, Pas-de-Calais and Seine-Maritime will be in orange vigilance for waves-submersion.

Strong gusts of wind

In the South-East and in Corsica, the sun will predominate, with cloudy periods over Languedoc-Roussillon and the West of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. Wind gusts will blow at 90/100 km / h, up to 120/130 km / h over Haute-Corse and 150 over the exposed Caps. In the afternoon, gales will still be on the Isle of Beauty. On the other hand, they will decrease on the coast of Provence, but will still remain sustained on the Var and the Alpes-Maritimes at 60/80 km / h.

In the northern half, the morning will remain under the threat of sleet with locally sleet. In the afternoon, clouds will dominate giving a few rare showers. The wind will blow strongly in the morning with gusts everywhere between 90 and 100 km / h. Over the course of the day, they will only concern the coasts of the Channel.

The rain-snow limit will gradually decrease to reach 600 / 800m in the Vosges, 800 / 1000m in the Jura, 1000 / 1200m in the Alps and from 1800m in the Pyrenees. Over Aquitaine and Midi-Pyrénées, a disturbance will occur during the day, with its share of clouds and light rain. On the other regions, no improvement to be expected, lots of clouds and showers or showers to fear.
