All day September 29, she walks around feeling that something is chasing her, that there is something dark that wants her and her son bad. Although she is not very religious, she tries to get to the church to get away from the "evil", but cannot find it.

Instead, she and her son go and buy sweets and go home again.

Just before 11 pm on the evening of September 29, she calls SOS Alarm and tells her that she has killed her child.

Tense atmosphere in the courtroom

SVT reporter Johanna Holstein is present in the courtroom. She describes the mood as tense and somewhat printed.

In the morning, the prosecutor went through the preliminary investigation and autopsy report, and showed surveillance footage from the grocery store her mother and son visited on the same day she killed him. A few hours later, her mother called SOS Alarm and stated that she had killed her son. The alarm call was played in the courtroom.

It is clear early in the trial that this is not about the perpetration itself, both parties agree that the mother has killed her son. What the prosecutor must prove now is that the woman had intent and that her state of mind before the death was normal. The accused woman looks badly compassionate and is obviously sorry. The trial was held in front of closed doors during that section when images were shown of the son's body.

In her own notes from the detention, the mother writes about her anxiety about killing her own child.
