At an expanded meeting of the Federation Council Committee on Social Policy, the head of the Ministry of Labor noted that this is not provided for by current legislation.
“During the period of their activity, they are charged with the appropriate insurance coefficients to increase their pensions. At the time of retirement, these citizens receive all the accumulated indexation, ”RIA Novosti quoted Kotyakova as saying.
Earlier, the working group on constitutional amendments said that their adoption does not guarantee indexation to working pensioners. They explained that this is possible only when adjusting the Federal Law.
On January 23, the State Duma approved on first reading the presidential bill amending the country's main law. It fixes in the document the regular indexation of pensions.
