Brazil has withdrawn 34 people from quarantine in Hubei, China, and confined them to a new coronavirus infection.
The Brazilian government says two air force planes carrying 34 people have arrived at the Annapolis Air Force Base in Goiás in the midwest.
The Brazilian Ministry of Health says they immediately housed them in containment facilities inside the Annapolis Air Force Base and will stay for 18 days.
A health official said, "All 34 had no health problems and had no suspected symptoms of a new corona infection."
There have been no confirmed cases of new corona so far in Brazil and there are eight suspected infections.
All suspect patients are concentrated in the southeastern and southern regions of Sao Paulo, and their health is relatively good.
