08 February 2020 A swastika appeared yesterday in San Daniele del Friuli (Udine) on the house where Arianna Szorenyi lived, who on June 16, 1944 was deported together with family members to Auschwitz.

The Messaggero Veneto reports it. Digos investigates the case. Drawn with a black marker next to the door, it was then covered with a heart. In the town there have already been episodes of intolerance: on January 30 anti-Semitic letters had been delivered to minority councilors with the inscription: "After 75 years the Jew is always Jewish". A demonstration is scheduled today in front of Szorenyi's house.
