According to him, the decline in gas prices for the population of Ukraine is associated with a drop in gas prices in Europe and is not a merit of the government.
“When the prime minister, when the government, when they all talk about how good they are, because they cut the price of gas, this is a hoax to people. The price in payments decreased slightly for one reason: because the price has fallen in Europe, ”Lyashko said.
He warned that the population will again have to pay more for utilities if gas prices rise on European exchanges.
Earlier, adviser to the President of Ukraine Igor Novikov using obscene language said that Naftogaz bought too expensive fuel last summer, which affects end consumers.
He also promised to transmit data on crimes against the country's energy security to Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky.
