The British Air Force has announced the upcoming release of confidential files relating to reports of unidentified flying objects (UFOs). These documents were written by a section of the Royal Air Force (RAF) dedicated to unidentified flying objects, created in 1950, reports The Telegraph .

The group ceased operations in 2009 after concluding that none of these reports posed a serious threat to the country. The files are being declassified before publication. They should be available during the first quarter of 2020. The creation of a specific page on the British government's website is envisaged to host them.
