A time not to set foot outside. If you live in Hauts-de-France, a word of advice: stay home on Sunday! According to Météo France, the Ciara storm should hit the region from Sunday noon. On the coast, wind gusts of 130 to 140 km / h are expected. And inland, winds between 100 and 120 km / h are announced.

High tides also on the program

Precautionary measures are starting to be taken, like the city of Le Touquet which decided to ban access to the beach from Sunday to Tuesday. These difficult weather conditions will be combined with an episode of high tides causing a risk of marine submersion. Vigilance is therefore more important than ever throughout the weekend in the region.
