Coronavirus: "We have to get out of here" says a quarantined passenger on the Japanese ship - 20 Minutes

Philip and Gay will remember their cruise to the Japanese islands. This American couple is among the 3,700 passengers quarantined on the Diamond Princess ship due to cases of coronavirus found within it.

In the video above, they show the living conditions on board the boat, which must remain confined in their cabin. In all, 61 cases of coronavirus were detected among the 273 passengers tested. The patients are American, New Zealanders, Japanese and even Taiwanese. They were landed and hospitalized in several Japanese cities, including Yokohama where the ship docked.

The authorities are continuing the examinations on board the vessel. All passengers will remain immobilized for a total of fourteen days, the incubation time for the disease.
