He believes that this is a provocation in order to discredit himself and the entire top leadership of the armed forces.
Currently, the defense is getting acquainted with the case file. It is expected that the application for arrest will be examined later.
Earlier it was reported that Arslanov was charged with fraud with the state contract for the repair of military equipment.
The case also includes the former head of Voentelecom Alexander Davydov, his deputy Oleg Savitsky, adviser Dmitry Semiletov, and representatives of the Ministry of Defense.
