It is specified that the Rada suspended the consideration of the draft in second reading in plenary on Friday, February 7, the work of deputies on it will continue on Tuesday, February 18.

Earlier, Prime Minister of Ukraine Alexey Goncharuk said that the Ukrainian side will ask the European Union for € 26 million to carry out land reform and improve agricultural resource management.

In early January, the Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine Timothy Milovanov announced the readiness of the bill for consideration by the Rada in the second reading.

The initiative provides for permission to sell agricultural land to Ukrainian citizens and legal entities, as well as to some foreigners or companies that have been renting them for at least three years.
