- This week we went through all the activities, and what they need and their mission. We expect that there will be 109 doctors and 157 nurses, so it is much smaller, says hospital director Björn Zoëga to the newspaper.
The reason for notifications is poor economy. Last year, the hospital made a deficit of SEK 1.9 billion, compared to budget.
Of the first notification regarding 550 services, approximately 70 remain in the end to be relocated or quit, while the number of administrative services in the hospital has decreased by 300-400.
When asked if there is any more notice, Björn Zoëga says:
