Sami culture and climate change in the north are on the program. Among other things, Thunberg will participate in a climate event at Lake Talvatiss on Friday, reports Norr Media.
-We have invited her to learn more about Sami culture, industries and languages and how they are affected by climate change. Sami children and young people will tell us why nature and the environment are so important to them. Then Greta will also speak, says Sanna Vannar, chair of the Sami youth organization Sáminuorra.
