Li Won Liang confirmed that seven patients were diagnosed with acute respiratory syndrome and SARS-like symptoms at the Wuhan Seafood Market in December last year and informed a group chat room with medical alumni.

As the news spread, Wen Liang and his colleagues were arrested four days later in the police for disseminating false facts.

Li Won Liang was released when the Chinese government officially confirmed the new coronavirus, but he was confirmed for the new corona on Monday after he was hospitalized due to infection symptoms.

WHO still does not know the cause and origin of the new corona, and says it will convene a research innovation forum next week with scientists from around the world.
