The traction pole of the Unsa-RATP, the first union in the Parisian transport authority, called on Thursday for a "black Monday in transport" in Île-de-France on February 17, the day of the examination of the draft pension reform in session at the National Assembly.

"In accordance with the wishes of general meetings, the Unsa-RATP traction pole, the first union to operate railways, is organizing and continuing the fight against this unfair retirement reform," said Laurent Djebali, a representative of metro drivers, in a press release. and RER at Unsa-RATP.

"The Unsa-RATP calls on all metro and RER employees to mobilize very massively for a black Monday in transport," he continues.

This announcement comes as opponents of the pension reform demonstrated again Thursday to demand its withdrawal and stem the breathlessness of a historic mobilization.

On the strike side, several sectors, such as ports or waste treatment centers, have taken over from transport, where traffic was "normal" at RATP and with "little disturbance" at SNCF.

The drivers of the Paris metro and the RATP's RER began their strike against the pension reform on December 5. They had voted on January 17 in most of their general assemblies to suspend the strike movement in order to "regain strength" before mobilizing again on January 24, the day of the presentation of the reform project in the Council of Ministers.
