The latest in the line of high left parties to refuse a candidacy is the MP and the party's legal policy spokesperson Linda Westerlund Snecker, reports Ekot in Sweden's Radio.

Instead, she supports the party's vice-president Nooshi Dadgostar, who has said she wants to succeed the outgoing party leader Jonas Sjöstedt in May.

- I think Nooshi Dadgostar will do very well. I'm glad she's a candidate, says Linda Westerlund Snecker (V) to the radio.

The favorite Ulla Andersson and the party's climate policy spokesperson Jens Holm have previously said that they do not want to become party leader.
