Dr. Eng. Mohammed Ahmed bin Omair said that the department seeks to provide all the capabilities and scientific expertise to achieve sustainable urban development in the emirate of Ajman, indicating that the department focuses on achieving Ajman vision 2021 for a happy society that contributes to building a green economy stimulated by a distinguished government consistent with the spirit of the union, to be in line with Its plan towards achieving its strategic goal "achieving the interconnection between the elements of infrastructure and residential communities" through "achieving balanced urban development" in all regions of the emirate, and we seek to develop the urban environment in accordance with the approved studies, plans and legislations.

He continued, that the requirements were laid down to demonstrate the aesthetics and importance of the Emirate of Ajman, and the project focuses on attention to visual marketing, so that Ajman is a better city to live in the world, and that urban planning includes the old areas of the emirate, and there are many internal initiatives organized by the department to preserve the beauty of the old fabric and design Heritage, taking into account the specifications of the surrounding area and the nature of the street.

For his part, Engineer Ali Al-Shehhi, Director of Planning and Surveying Department, said that stimulating investments is a key requirement in the real estate sector in the emirate by establishing a flexible and transparent mechanism for launching projects that attract capitals, stressing that the conditions come to protect the rights of investors, and that one of the goals of the project "Urban Coordination and Urban Design" For Ajman Streets, "Preparing integrated standards and requirements guides to raise business efficiency in the Department of Planning and Surveying. He pointed out that the project outputs also included detailed planning for a housing area in Al-Yasmeen district with an area of ​​one million square meters, qualification of the Department of Planning and Survey and obtaining an ISO (37101), and preparing design alternatives for Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Street (the Corniche) and the requirements of the waterfront and the proposed uses and activities, Knowledge sessions, specialized specialized courses and workshops were organized in the areas of urban planning for department engineers, and these outputs resulted from comparative studies of manuals, standards and requirements at the local, Arab and international levels, in addition to holding workshops with the project team for review To ensure the development of evidence to achieve the vision and objectives of the department.
