The Aérochrome has just opened its doors on the route de Grenade on the initiative of the Collective incubator of street'artists (Cisart ') and the town hall, which has invested 80,000 euros.

For several years, Cisart 'had a foothold at the Cartoucherie. But forced to move, the association found a land of welcome in the city of aeronautics. "We had this place and we wanted to develop a school of urban arts, they were looking for a place," recalls the mayor, Joseph Carles.

In this vast space, artists will be able to put their suitcases and carry out their projects. “We will host workshops but it will also be a place of dissemination, of transmission. We are also already doing work in schools and leisure centers, ”explains Elsa Couronné, one of the founders of the collective. “We will complement what already exists, especially festivals. Our objective is really to create exchanges and to highlight the local scene ”, continues Hervé Marty du Cisart.
