  • The network based on recommendation and sponsorship publishes the ranking of the most sought-after stations in its community.
  • Family resorts like La Clusaz or Combloux are acclaimed.
  • Some well-known resorts, but with a reduced hotel offer, are doing well thanks to their rental offer.

As the February holidays approach, two species cherished by lovers of curiosity flourish: winter hellebore and ski resort rankings. In this regard, everything is good to make us wait before taking the road to the peaks: list of the most expensive, most instagrammable stations or even classification of those where we are most likely to have our scooters stolen. We now also know the hit parade of the stations most requested by GensDeConfiance members.

GensDeConfiance, for those who do not yet know, is a network of classified ads based on recommendation. To access offers (accommodation, work or sale of second-hand objects, in particular), you must be sponsored by at least three people. One way to secure transactions and therefore, in this case, to reassure chalet owners about the use that will be made of their property. It is this peculiarity that makes the ranking significantly different from other awards.

. "Our members often go skiing with the family," explains its president, Nicolas Davoust. They are looking for affordable resorts, sporty enough to have fun on the slopes and family friendly enough to offer activities off the slopes. And in this little game, the winner is ...

1. Saint-Gervais

Le Figaro said of her a few days ago that she is "chic and without fuss". The Saint-Gervais resort in Haute-Savoie wins the ranking. Connected to Megève, it offers a variety of unusual slopes thanks to the Evasion Mont-Blanc ski area. Its luxurious chalets are an eye-catcher for the many families who use the advertising site. "The owners are assured of renting their property to
respectful families, comments Bertille Marchal, Marketing Director of GensDeConfiance, which explains why some of them
not even looking for tenants elsewhere, on other sites. "

2. La Clusaz

Renowned for a few years for downhill mountain biking in summer, La Clusaz (Haute-Savoie) remains a sure bet in winter. The resort enjoys an ideal location between 1,100 and 2,600 m above sea level, at the junction of five massifs. Land of champions, the cradle of French ski racing, it also knows how to be more calm and accessible for families. This ambivalence earned him second place.

3. Les Arcs

A 100% electric funicular, solar panels that bloom on the roofs of public buildings, algorithms to make "just snow" ... Les Arcs, in Savoie, have been betting on sustainability for several years to stand out from other stations. And it works… They could obtain the Flocon Vert label by the end of 2020. In the meantime, it takes third place in this list.

4. Combloux

"Family resorts, such as Combloux or La Clusaz, are more in demand on GensDeConfiance than mountain resorts," explains Nicolas Davoust, the site's co-founder. To attract tourists, the Haute-Savoie resort is not short of arguments. But sometimes short of bed. Second homes, which remain empty for most of the year, and hotels left without buyers have detracted from its visibility. Last year, the tourist office decided to counterattack and the first results are already being felt. A fourth place by way of encouragement ...

5. Hauteluce

In the heart of Beaufortain, Hauteluce is a little-known paradise. The village enjoys one of the most beautiful views of Savoy. Between Espace Diamant and Domaine des Contamines Montjoie, it is not to be outdone in ski terms. But it is especially the lovers of beautiful landscapes who will find their happiness in Hauteluce. "Holidaymakers do not stop at the size of the ski area," comments Nicolas Davoust. They are also attentive to anything that could enhance their day once the slopes are closed. If they like to live in a postcard, they will be served in Hauteluce.
