On Wednesday, Environment and Climate Minister Isabella Lövin (MP) handed over the baton to her Finnish colleague Krista Mikkonen. It happened after a two-day meeting in Luleå that Lövin thought was successful.

"The most important thing is that we have agreed on measures to rectify the shortcomings of four heavily polluting industries, all in Russia," Isabella Lövin says.

This applies, among other things, to a pulp mill that has been modernized and a water and sewage plant that has started to purify the water.

- The Russians have begun to understand how important the environment is and we are doing this work together.

In addition to Isabella Lövin and Krista Mikkonen, Norwegian secretary of state Maren Hersleth Holsen and two Russian regional ministers, Aleksei Schelin from Karelia and Anna Bagrova from Murmansk, participated.

In the clip you will hear more from Isabella Lövin about what emerged during the meeting.
