The 16-year-old young man heard in police custody and suspected of the murder of another teenager tried to flee Tuesday from the gendarmerie of Dax, reports the Republic of the Pyrenees. He ran in the streets of Dax before his presentation to the judge and was caught after twenty minutes by the gendarmes.

During his hearing, he told the gendarmes where the body of the victim was, buried in the field of Yzosse in the Landes. He was indicted Tuesday "for murder and escape during police custody", and his girlfriend for "complicity in murder". She would have, in agreement with her current boyfriend, given an appointment with the victim who would have found himself alone facing the young man.

On Sunday, the suspect acknowledged an argument where he allegedly "squeezed the victim's neck" and beat him. He was placed on Tuesday night in pre-trial detention and the girl, the same age, under judicial supervision.
