Xi Jinping's Chinese leadership stressed the importance of prompting the lack of response to the spread of new coronavirus infections, and that this would be a major test of China's national governance system.

According to the People's Daily, China's leadership, including President Xi Jinping, made this statement at the Communist Party Political Affairs Committee in Beijing the day before discussing new corona measures.

In fact, Xi Jinping's leadership acknowledged that the Chinese government's response to the new corona had not been properly addressed, and fears that failure to resolve the situation early could hurt Xi Jinping's and Communist leadership.

The Political Department's Commerce Department said at the meeting, "The new corona is a big test of China's state governing system and capabilities, so we must sum up experience and take lessons."

At the meeting, Mr. Xi stressed that since the outbreak of the new corona, the Party has placed great importance on it and puts people's life safety and health at the forefront of its efforts.

"Currently, the key is to make the prevention and control of infectious diseases more robust and detailed," he said. "The new corona quarantine must be integrated at the national level and strictly obey the central command."
