The suspect, known to the police, gave a hard time to the Bac men who came to arrest him in the act. Sunday morning, a 33-year-old man was arrested in Bron, near Lyon, after an armed robbery occurred in a convenience store on avenue Pierre-Brosselette.
The suspect, a Meyzieu resident, took advantage of the arrival of one of the store employees to burst into the store, his face masked by a balaclava and a mask. He then threatened the victim with a knife and a tear gas can to open the trunk, reports the Lyon police. A maneuver which proved impossible, the employee not having the keys.
Wounded during his arrest
As he was about to flee, the suspect was arrested by men from La Bac, alerted by a neighbor of the convenience store. Slightly injured during his arrest, he was transported to the hospital, where he allegedly took advantage of a medical examination to try to look beautiful. He was quickly spotted by the police and arrested again. Not without difficulty.
The suspect, with a criminal record of 30, rebelled against the three officials, injuring them to varying degrees (1, 10 and 15 days of ITT), specifies the safety of the Rhône. Placed in police custody, the man would have recognized the facts. He must be referred this Tuesday to the Lyon prosecutor's office, to be tried in immediate appearance.
