“The draft procedural code of Russia on administrative offenses proposes to extend the possibility of paying an administrative fine in half to all administrative offenses, with the exception of gross administrative offenses, as well as certain administrative offenses in the field of traffic,” the press service said in response to a TASS request .
According to the department, the discount can be extended to 1000 out of 1666 projected administrative offenses, which is eight times more than before.
Earlier, the Ministry of Justice of Russia published a draft of the new Code of Administrative Offenses, which, in particular, involves a sharp increase in existing fines and the introduction of new types of punishment for violators of traffic rules.
