Both fires are now being investigated as homicides.

The first alarm was for the tent at Våxnäs and it came in at 14 o'clock on Saturday.

"There does not appear to have been any person in that camp, but it is classified as a homicide," says Kenneth Johannesson, watchdog officer at the Bergslagen police.

Third degree burn

Just before 10 pm the next alarm came about a burning tent. That tent was set up near Biltema on Gräsdalen. A man and a woman in their 50s lay asleep in the tent when it started to burn.

- The man was taken to hospital with a major burn. He had a second degree burn on his thigh and a third degree on both arms.

Is there any connection between these two fires?

- It feels strange if there is no connection. A technical survey should be carried out during the day, so it may help, says Kenneth Johannesson.

There is currently no suspect, but according to the police there are detectable information they can go on.
