Walkers discovered the lifeless body of a woman in her thirties this Sunday morning on the beach of Petite Salinette, in Saint-Briac-sur-Mer, not far from Saint-Malo (Ille-et- Ugly). The victim was lying on the sand, only wearing a swimsuit. The gendarmes called witnesses to try to identify him.

The investigators have no idea for the moment of the identity of the young woman, nor of the reasons for her death. On site, they dispatched a canine team and a tracking dog and a helicopter. “Many very detailed observations were carried out on the spot. We do not favor any hypothesis, "said gendarmerie captain Emmanuel Aubry.

The gendarmes want to identify him

Investigators are looking into whether people have seen the young woman get into the water and where. The victim "is likely to have bathed on one of the beaches of Ille-et-Vilaine or Côtes d'Armor", specifies the gendarmerie.

The young woman is about 1.60 m tall, has black or dark brown hair, dark blue, green or light brown eyes and wore a black one-piece swimsuit. Anyone who has encountered the young woman or who is likely to know her can contact the Gendarmerie de Pleurtuit on 02 99 88 41 42 or send an email to: bta.pleurtuit@gendarmerie.interieur.gouv.fr.
