Still in shape: Sony's "Bad Boys", along with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, remain at the head of the North American box office this weekend, according to provisional figures published on Sunday by the specialized company Exhibitor Relations.

This last day of the week is however overshadowed by the Super Bowl, the final of the American football championship, during which the cinemas empty.

"Bad Boys for Life", the third installment of the famous police saga, still collected $ 17.7 million from Friday to Sunday in Canada and the United States, thanks to the good feelings between the two friends Will Smith and Martin Lawrence.

"1917", a war film by Sam Mendes, was second with 9.7 million. He is one of the favorites for the Oscars with ten nominations.

"Dolittle", the story of this doctor capable of communicating with animals, is third with 7.7 million.

Fourth, the new horror film "Gretel and Hansel", a rereading of the tale of the brothers Grimm, collects 6.1 million dollars.

In fifth position, "The Gentlemen", by Guy Ritchie, with Matthew McConaughey and Hugh Grant, pocketed 6 million.

Here's the rest of the Top 10:

6 - "Jumanji: Next Level" (6 million)
