The snow came late this year, but lately it has fallen heavily with snow both in the mountains and inland. Adak has the second most snow in the country with a snow depth that on Sunday morning measured 104 centimeters.
- There have been several low-pressure passing from the west that has contributed to the recent snowfall, says SVT meteorologist Deana Bajic.
In the next few days, a high-pressure ridge is expected to pull in over Västerbotten, with beautiful and slightly cooler weather. But already on Wednesday, the forecast is more snow in the mountains.
