This week, SVT talked about the problems for bus passengers traveling between Tavelsjö and Umeå. Among other things, it is about school students who are pushed to the wrong school.

But there is criticism elsewhere as well. Following our reporting, passengers in Sävar have heard that schedules are not kept and that the drivers seem stressed and drive too fast.

County Administrative Director Harriet Söder knows the problems. According to her, this is because the buses often get stuck in the car traffic at Tomtebo.

- It's not good for the drivers to be stressed. We focus on that and need to adjust the timetable. We are reviewing this right now with Umeå municipality, she tells SVT.

Complaint in Bjurholm

In Bjurholm municipality there have also been problems with bus traffic since the turn of the year. Many complaints have been received at the municipal office.

- Those who complain are parents and others, it's about late arrivals and departures and full buses. And for the high school students who commute to the Dragon School in Umeå, it has meant that it has to wait an hour on the bus before they can go home, says Jenny Stensson, who is a business developer in Bjurholm.

Here, too, Länstrafiken says they are working to fix the problems.

- Our traffic developers have taken this to Region Västerbotten, which determines the timetables. We will investigate to see if we find any remedy. We apologize for being rude and do everything we can to resolve it as soon as possible, says Harriet Söder.
