“I ask the National Constituent Assembly to create a high-level commission to carry out a profound reform of the judiciary,” RIA Novosti quoted Maduro as saying.
It is noted that the reform will also affect the General Prosecutor's Office.
“Let's not deceive ourselves, there are things that are (being implemented) badly ... and we must change everything that is bad ... in Venezuela,” he added.
Earlier, Maduro expressed hope for the creation of a UN special commission to observe the elections to the country's National Assembly.
