Sad discovery for the Loire-Atlantique gendarmerie Wednesday afternoon at Le Croisic. A woman and a man, who lived as a couple, were found dead in their accommodation, reports the national gendarmerie, confirming information from the weekly L'Echo de la Presqu'île . The first was 86, the second 88.

The two bodies were not in the same room. According to the first medico-legal conclusions, their death was of natural origin. The husband would have died before his wife and the latter would have “let herself die”, indicates the gendarmerie.

The gendarmes were alerted by a supermarket employee who was surprised not to see the couple coming to do their shopping for about a month.
