The Israeli occupation forces stormed the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque to disperse the worshipers who traveled early to perform the Fajr prayer, and to prevent them from making any manifestations of protest. Earlier, it hindered the arrival of buses heading to the mosque.

This came after calls to the General Negev, due to the increase in settler attacks and incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque, in addition to the expulsion campaign that included a large number of prominent Jerusalemites, scholars and preachers.

The occupation forces are expected to reinforce their presence in occupied Jerusalem today, in anticipation of the outbreak of confrontations after the first Friday prayer after the announcement of the American peace plan.

And the Israeli forces are deployed in three security rings at the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque, the entrances to the old town and the Arab neighborhoods.

Two Palestinians were wounded, one of them by live ammunition, on Thursday evening, during clashes with the Israeli army near the Qalandiya military checkpoint, north of occupied Jerusalem.

"Our crews transported wounded people, one with live bullets in the thigh, and the other with gas during confrontations at the Qalandiya checkpoint a little while ago," the Palestine Red Crescent Society (non-governmental) said in a brief statement.

It is noteworthy that clashes erupted in several regions in all areas of the West Bank and the city of Jerusalem, in refusal of the announcement of US President Donald Trump, the American plan for peace in the Middle East, known as the "Deal of the Century", last Tuesday.

Trump announced at a news conference in Washington the presence of outgoing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The plan, which was rejected by the Palestinian Authority and all the resistance factions, includes the establishment of a connected Palestinian state in the form of an archipelago connected by bridges and tunnels, and to make the city of Jerusalem an undivided capital for Israel.

According to Trump's plan, Israel maintains the Jordan Valley, and the entire eastern border of the West Bank.

Missiles
The Israeli occupation army announced on Thursday evening that it had detected the launch of three rockets from the Gaza Strip, towards the Israeli settlements adjacent to the Strip.

The army said that the Iron Dome system intercepted two missiles, without explaining the location of the third fall.

In turn, the Israeli private channel 12 reported that the third missile landed in the town of Sderot, without casualties reported.

Earlier Thursday evening, Israeli planes and tanks carried out a bombing targeting agricultural sites and lands in the city of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.

From time to time, the Israeli army announces the monitoring of rockets fired from the Gaza Strip, which often do not result in human or material injuries.
