According to RIA Novosti, the meeting was held at the Russian Embassy in France, during which Vyshinsky and Cherysheva talked about pressure on Estonia Sputnik. Vyshinsky noted that the situation resembles his personal one.

“Only one difference: I was arrested, and my colleagues were warned that they could arrest me. This is a very disturbing fact, especially in the EU, ”he said.

In turn, Deloire said that he had received a letter about the situation with Sputnik Estonia, the organization is studying it and will soon give an official response.

Earlier, Vyshinsky conveyed to the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media Duna Miyatovych a statement on the situation with Sputnik Estonia and a list of journalists persecuted in Ukraine.

On January 1, Sputnik Estonia switched to emergency operation. Agency employees were forced to terminate their employment with the editorial board due to the threat of criminal prosecution.
