These criticisms come as Russian President Vladimir Putin and Israeli caretaker Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu discussed in Moscow bilateral relations and developments in the region, in addition to the US peace plan.

At the start of the meeting, Netanyahu said he would brief Putin on the atmosphere of his negotiations with US officials.

He added that he was waiting to hear the Russian President's position on how to bring together all world powers for peace and tranquility, as he put it.

After the meeting, the Kremlin said that Netanyahu briefed Putin on the details of the US peace plan, and Moscow continues to analyze and study it.

Trump announced on Tuesday the details of his plan for peace in the Middle East, and the most prominent thing was that Jerusalem would be a unified capital for Israel and a new Palestinian state, considering that his plan represented a major step towards peace.

He said that the future Palestinian state will only exist according to several "conditions", including "an explicit rejection of terrorism", and proposes a four-year freeze in Israeli construction in the proposed area of the Palestinian state.

Plan and criticize
Earlier, an Israeli channel revealed that a Palestinian delegation had delivered a letter to President Mahmoud Abbas from the Palestinian side, in which he said that Trump's plan was considered to cancel the Oslo agreement.

Israeli Channel 12 said that the delegation, headed by the head of the Palestinian Authority's Civil Affairs Authority, Hussein al-Sheikh, handed to the Israeli Finance Minister, Moshe Kahlon, a written message from Abbas, in which he said that the Palestinians believe that they have the right to break all tools as Israel did and to stop security coordination with it.

The Israeli channel added that the letter was written in the Palestinian President's handwriting in Arabic, and stated that the Palestinian Authority sees itself free to announce that it is in a solution of the Oslo agreement and any other agreements with Israel.

The channel said that the content of the message represents the Palestinian position that will be presented to the meeting of Arab foreign ministers in Cairo.
