The head of the Department of Housing in the Government of Sharjah, Engineer Khalifa Al Tunaiji, confirmed to the direct line that the honor of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah to build 4400 government homes at the level of the Emirate of Sharjah is the number of the granting of the emirate of Sharjah, indicating that his Highness is following the project in detail, and directed to finish it within a year and a half year.

He continued: "His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah preferred to allocate lands to each city separately in a way that is compatible with the social components, and the plans for implementation were removed, some of which are ready for implementation, many of which we can start entirely and others partly."

Al Tunaiji indicated that there are approximately 300 individuals working on the project, which is considered a point of enrichment for national cadres, including engineers and supervisors, and an opportunity to follow best practices, and has become a magnet for many companies, even global.

He pointed out that His Highness, the Ruler of Sharjah, directed the completion of the project to build 4400 homes at the level of the Emirate of Sharjah within one and a half years, pointing out that His Highness directed the departments of the emirate to deliver services to the homes immediately upon completion, and there will be no delay in that.

He indicated that the project of building 4400 homes will be divided as follows: 1700 homes in Sharjah divided into Al-Suyoh, two areas in Rahmaniyah, 3 areas in Al-Shnouf, 365 homes in Al-Wusta, 600 Kalba, 600 Khor Fakkan, 460 Dibba Al-Hisn, 57 in Hamriyah.
