As Mishustin recalled, Russian President Vladimir Putin had previously held a meeting on this topic.
“We report to him daily. And I also held a meeting on a set of measures to prevent coronavirus infection and the readiness of our healthcare system to provide medical care. To coordinate this work, an order was signed to create an operational headquarters headed by Tatyana Golikova, ”he added.
Mishustin added that this headquarters operates around the clock.
“I would like to emphasize once again that our main value is the health of citizens. And here, Tatyana Alekseevna would ask you, in fact on a daily basis, to regularly inform the public about the current situation, about the measures that the government is taking so that people do not have a lack of information, ”the prime minister emphasized.
On January 29, Putin held a meeting with the government, during which he called for measures aimed at minimizing losses in the event of the spread of coronavirus in Russia.
At the same time, Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova said that no cases of infection were detected in the country, but indicated that there was a risk of virus penetration.
