Distrustful of the ecological awareness displayed by Bordeaux viticulture institutions, the Alerte aux toxic and Info Médoc pesticides collectives want to collect their own data on pesticide residues in wine. They underline for example that in spite of the voluntarist speeches, the last analyzes of Atmo, the regional observatory of the air, show the marked presence of pesticides, and in particular of fungicides in Bordeaux.
They launched a call for donations on the Gofundme platform to raise 5,000 euros to finance this project. Almost 1,500 euros have already been collected. "The analyzes of pesticide residues in wine bottles are reliable markers of real practices", underline the collectives in their press release.
