Selling medicine for pollen allergy as early as January, Helena Bengtsson, sales manager at Apoteket in Halmstad, cannot remember that she did before. But this year, several customers have visited the pharmacy because they thought they were wrestling with a cold - in fact, it is the pollen season that has started thieves.
Reason seems to be the mild winter. Concentrations of hazel and all around Sweden now compel allergy sufferers to cheat in the handkerchief.
- We have no problems with our medicine stores now, but we will review and increase whether the season comes as early as it seems, says Helena Bengtsson.
