January 29, 2020 The blackbird days popularly known as the coldest of winter, but which this year will be completely different, begin today. The weather really seems to have gone crazy. This is what the team of the website www.ilmeteo.it communicates.

According to ECMWF (European Center for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts) in the next few days the high pressure now on Italy will change its appearance and acquire sub-tropical features. Over the weekend, the North African anticyclone will approach Italy. The temperatures will begin to escalate, to say the least, astonishing, just think that between Sunday 2 and Monday 3 February Milan will touch 15-16 C, Rome 18 C, while in the South it will exceed 20 C.

A decidedly anomalous climate, which will soon change radically. In fact, the European Center expects a total change in atmospheric circulation starting from 5 February. The Azores anticyclone from the ocean will rise to the United Kingdom and Scandinavia and impetuous polar currents will move from here to reach Italy. An arctic air raid is expected between 5 and 7 February. If this were to be confirmed, our country would fall within 24-48 hours in the middle of winter with snow that could fall right on the coasts of Marche, Abruzzo and Molise.
